An impressive 64 percent of consumers feel happier and more joyful when their homes are adorned with festive decorations, while 57 percent eagerly anticipate the annual tradition of decorating for Christmas.

So it’s no surprise that many plan to begin their holiday celebrations well before December arrives. A majority of consumers display their Christmas and winter decorations early. This early start reflects Christmas's joy, with decorations helping to set a cheerful tone that resonates throughout homes.

It’s also no surprise that the Christmas tree is the central figure in all of this. Almost ALL of consumers celebrating Christmas intend to put up at least one tree in their homes in 2024. It doesn’t matter what type or size; each type offers its own unique charm and qualities. Artificial tree owners appreciate the minimal maintenance and easy setup, long-term cost savings, and the environmental benefits of reuse. Live tree lovers enjoy the fresh scent of a real tree, supporting local farmers and the tradition of picking out a new tree each year.
